Castle Valley Children’s Clinic proudly welcomes Esmeralda Osorio to our team! Esmeralda is a life-long Roaring Fork Valley resident who comes to us after a career as a special education teacher in local schools. After working in the schools as a bilingual, bicultural teacher, Esme decided to go back and obtain her master’s degree in Social Work, so as to meet the needs of her students better. As a clinical social work candidate Esme will lead CVCC’s Behavioral Health Team. Our Behavioral Health program will allow for mental health support in our primary care clinics, where the children are comfortable and with the collaboration of our primary care providers.
Esme will be available for short term bilingual/bicultural therapy and social work assistance. She will be present at many well care exams and available upon request or referral. Esme and her team will bring essential mental health support and resources to the communities our Carbondale and New Castle clinics serve. They will see patients with all types of insurance and there will be a sliding scale for those with no mental health care coverage. Please welcome her when you see her in the clinics!

Tania Banda – Tania has worked for CVCC for seven years. She has worked all support roles in the clinic and continues to be a part of the back bone of our organization. Tania was raised in the valley and graduated from Basalt High School. She is bilingual/bicultural and will be based out of Carbondale. Tania is raising a son in Glenwood. She is a true gift for all of the families who have the pleasure of working with her.
Behavioral Health Services at Castle Valley Children’s Clinic in New Castle and Carbondale are slated to start Spring 2024.
