Castle Valley Children’s Clinic in New Castle, Colorado is excited to announce the latest addition to our team of medical providers Zach Miller, FNP-C.

Zach is an international man. Growing up in a missionary family he was subject to moving frequently as a kid. He was born in Tunis, Tunisia and spent the first 12 years of his life mostly in North Africa. His mother is Swedish, and therefore also spent a fair amount of his childhood in Sweden. Due to all the moving he grew up with 4 different languages and has maintained fluency in 3 of them (English, Swedish, and French). His first word was, in fact, in Swedish. His family moved to the US when he was about 12 years old and has mostly lived in California since then. He moved to New Castle, CO in 2021.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 2009 from Humboldt State University. He has had a variety of jobs as an RN (mostly inpatient) in the last 13 years. In winter of 2022, he completed his Masters Degree for Family Nurse Practitioner through the University of Cincinnati. Zach comes to us with a high degree of passion and experience in healthcare. Being new to Pediatrics, he has a wealth of knowledge that, with his career and educational background, brings a unique perspective to our clients into their adulthood. With his calm and reassuring demeanor, he makes our families and patients feel comfortable and well cared for.

When not working, you will find Zach enjoying the cliffs and boulders of the western slope as he is an avid climber. He also enjoys getting together for dinner with local friends, working out at the gym, and spending time with his girlfriend.
